Maui Relief Concert @ Ayurprana

Honored to join my good friend Billy Cardine and the all-star cast he's assembled for a concert at Ayrprana Listening Room for a Lahaina benefit concert. Billy's a fantastic dobro player and we have a passion for Hawaiian music that we share with Asheville in a group called CarolinAloha. Here's a description of the concert from the Ayurprana website:

Musical Benefit for Maui / Lahaina relief - Ayurprana Asheville- Monday Sept 11 @ 7pm. The scope of the fires has been extraordinary and horrifying. So many homes lost. So much history left to only books, pictures and video. The threat of assholes looking to capitalize off the land. This is an important time for anyone who can to band together and lend a hand. A great all star cast of musicians will perform. Lots of Hawaiian music with my project CarolinAloha, as well as drumming with River Guerguerian, singers and songwriters Mary Lucey and Anya Hinkle, transcendent bassist Jake Wolf, our project The Billy Sea, the brilliant Chris Rosser, Ayurprana host David NewmanDavid, and many guests TBA.
