Continental Drift

I spent a good three days in Edinburgh this July enjoying the cold rainy weather and the company of some of Europe's finest jazz scholars at a conference called Continental Drift: 50 Years of Jazz from Europe—now a part of the venerable Edinburgh Jazz Festival. Gave a talk on German jazz nationalism and also served on a panel discussion with Tony Whyton, Jose Dias and Emma Webster entitled "Places and Events." Great experience!
